To All Registered Pictou Landing Band Members:

The Chief and Council of the Pictou Landing First Nation have authorized individual payments to all of its registered Pictou Landing Band Members-as defined by the Indian Act of Canada. Children under 18 years of age on or before application deadline of November 13th, 2023 are considered minors. To be eligible for this year’s payment, you must be registered on or before December 31st, 2023. All payments will be processed up to January 31st, 2024 – no applications will be accepted after this date.

In order to receive your payments in a timely manner, please complete one of the attached form(s) accordingly:

1. Application Form for INDIVIDUAL*;
   or,
2. Application Form for FAMILY**

And return the form(s) on or before 4:00pm on Monday, November 13th to:

**Please note that if more than one form is submitted for a minor (child/children), additional information may be required in order to process the payment. Ensure that all supporting documentation (ie. custody agreements) are attached to your application form to avoid delays.

* For all registered band members who are under the care of provincial/federal service providers, the cheques will be made out to that organization on their behalf.
